Mission statement for this project.
The mission of the RightToHealthCare.org is to provide educational resources and a forum for discussion on the concept of a "Right to Health Care". This educational work includes the history and philosophy of the concept and its relation to other human rights, legal documentation and argumentation, the geography of work on the "Right to Health Care", the relation of this concept to other work in US health care reform and international perspectives. We provide a discussion forum including opposing viewpoints to assist visitors in evaluating the issues from all perspectives. The educational work is intended to provide a basis for broad popular mobilization, demands on legislatures and activism generally on this issue.
It should be understood that www.RightToHealthCare.org is operated by Project EINO headquartered at www.EverybodyInNobodyOut.org .
The overall mission of Project EINO is:
to educate the public, encourage state movement towards an equitable health care system guaranteeing universal access to care. Project EINO recommends focus on the 'Right to Health Care', as the best strategy to empower those communities most at-risk in the current system. . This shall be accomplished by support of grassroots organizing and empowering those communities most at-risk in the current system. (same as stated on the Project EINO homepage).
Obviously for Project EINO there is a strong logical connection between the logic of state-level grassroots work and work which is focused on the Right to Health Care -as we explicitly and prominently state at both websites. Critical principles of Project EINO are posted at the EINO website CLICK HERE.
