Discussion Group Details -
The list-serve at Yahoo is "unmoderated" and "membership restricted". All memberships from seriously interested individuals will be approved. Membership will only be revoked for lack of courtesy (including spamming, commercial use, or other misuse of intended purpose for discussion on this topic. As an unmoderated exchange of ideas we expect all members to adhere to the guidelines for courtesy which appear as the first communication for the group (Yahoo Group Website) and which follow:
Posting of files for member-downloading, bookmarks to other websites and photographs are restricted at our Yahoo Group Site. You must send
such submissions to the moderators (or list-owner) and have them post it, if approved. Relevant postings are possible also at
this website. Please send submissions to director@RightToHealthCare.org
or CLICK HERE.
-
Do not use the list-serve to communicate with one or two other members, use it only for messages that are pertinent to whole group.
-
If you solicit responses from the other members on something, please provide your own email address for those responses. We do not need each response going out again to everyone in the group.
-
Please take the time to make all messages reasonably legible (remove marks like >>) and coherent (use
complete sentences).
-
Be respectful and courteous. Do not use sarcasm, or foul language. Keep in mind that you cannot assume a common political affiliation, religious background, level of health policy (or philosophical) expertise, or cultural background among group members. Spell out all acronyms once in every email. Explain things as you would to the average "person on the street".
-
Failure to show respect for other members will result in your membership being cancelled.

Range Of Opinion - at our website
We intend to have a wide-ranging and very open discussion on the topic of a "Right to Health Care" made up of reasonable arguments based on historical facts, existing documentation (journals of scholarship) and data. We are NOT
interested in offering a "chat room" on this topic, nor in a list-serve that is simply a popularity poll for the most
widely held myth propagated through the major media and talk show circuit. We will not post redundant statements of opinions. Contributions must be coherent and in good english. Some editing (for length, deleting redundancies) may be done when the contribution is posted at this website.
Authors may always elect to rewrite their posted contribution or to withdraw it.
We DO INCLUDE viewpoints against the "Right to Health Care" and we will continue to post additional opposing viewpoints as new perspectives are offered to us. Assertions that cannot be backed up with either logical argument, citations or data, will not necessarily be posted (whether for or against the "Right to Health Care". If we ask for supporting arguments and get none from a contributor we may remove the unsupported and challenged statement. Postings will be credited to the same "personality" which submits the item to the yahoogroup (you are responsible for your own anonymity, or openess).
